Q&A With Suwasit Ritthiphon

How long have you been pole dancing?

I honestly do not remember. I have been working professionally in entertainment for over 21 years, and I found pole somewhere along that journey.

When did you fall in love with pole?

Unlike many pole dancers, it was not love at first spin. My love for pole developed over time, but today and always, pole is the love of my life.

How would you describe your style?

Sexy, dynamic, and graceful.

Your favourite pole move?

The Butterfly.

What are your must-haves when pole dancing?

Music, heels, and of course, the pole itself.

Any passions outside of pole?

Plenty. I love travelling, photography, music, good food and wine, films, sunbathing on stunning beaches, and anything involving creativity—designing costumes, choreographing routines, and exploring dance and aerial arts. I try to take myself on a “creative date” once or twice each week.

How does it feel performing amongst the world’s best?

Honestly, I feel nothing in that regard. I do not think about it competitively. I simply feel blessed to share my passion and express myself uniquely. That in itself is a gift.

What is your training schedule like?

My schedule is full with touring, judging, coaching, teaching, and performing. I train whenever I can.

What can you not live without?

My art. I love it more than life itself.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

Happy and free.
