About Rarr Activewear/Pole Dance Wear
Born from a love of quality, creativity, and the vibrant world of alternative fitness, RARR is an Australian brand designed for movers, shakers, pole dancers, festival queens, and everyone who dares to stand out.
RARR first came to life in 2013 — starting small (and we mean really small) in a humble garage. It began with just a handful of cute booty shorts, a sewing machine, and a big dream to create activewear that was as bold and dynamic as the people wearing it.
With a lot of love (and a lot of late nights), RARR quickly grew a loyal following. Our designs weren’t just made for movement — they were made to celebrate strength, confidence, and individuality. Word spread, orders multiplied, and before we knew it, the little garage setup just wasn’t going to cut it anymore.
In 2023, RARR upgraded to a beautiful, light-filled space where creativity could run wild. Then, in 2025, we made our biggest move yet — into our brand-new home in Hallam, Victoria. Now with a growing team (including some actual family members — shoutout to the RARR mums and sisters!), we’re dreaming even bigger, designing bolder, and sending our gear across Australia and around the world.

Meet Jess — Cutter, Customer Queen & RARR’s USA Rockstar
Jess has been part of the RARR fam for over 10 years — and she’s basically part of the furniture (the really sparkly, fabulous kind). As boss's sister, she’s been riding this wild RARR rollercoaster from the very start!
By day, she’s slicing and prepping fabric like an absolute boss. By night (and sometimes mid-flight), she’s our face at PoleCon USA — chatting, laughing, and repping RARR with that signature Aussie-Italian sparkle. If you’ve ever seen us at an event, you’ve definitely met Jess (and probably fallen a little bit in love with her vibe).
When she’s not working behind the scenes, you’ll catch her in front of the camera too — modeling our gear like a total natural. Jess is pure heart, pure hustle, and a core part of why RARR feels like home. We’re obsessed with her, and honestly, so will you be.
Meet Suds — Sewing Machine Queen & RARR’s Quiet Legend
Suds has been part of the RARR fam for an amazing 11 years, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her. Born in Sri Lanka and bringing over five decades of experience to the sewing table, Suds is the quiet powerhouse behind so many of your favourite RARR pieces.
Her sewing skills are next-level — every stitch, seam, and detail crafted with patience, precision, and a whole lotta love. She’s the calm in our crazy, the steady hands behind your sparkle, and the absolute queen of getting sh*t done.
And fun fact? You might have spotted her son modelling in some of our men's collections too — it really is a full family affair around here! 🧵💖

Meet Grace — Packing Queen & RARR’s Resident Mum
Grace is the heart of the RARR crew — carefully packing every order with love, sparkle, and maybe a few cheeky mum vibes. At 69 years young, she’s not just our packing boss — she’s also our team mum, snack provider, and official RARR hype woman.
Fun fact: Grace always carries RARR business cards in her handbag, ready to pimp us out to literally anyone who stands still long enough. 😂 Need polewear? Festival fits? A mum hug? Grace has you covered.

Meet Meha — Sewing Superstar & All-Round Queen
Meha landed in Australia just three years ago — and within two weeks, she found her way to RARR (and honestly, it was meant to be). She’s been part of our family ever since, sewing up a storm and filling the workshop with her vibrant energy and dazzling smile.
Before RARR, Meha was a fashion designer in India and a belly dance teacher (yes, seriously — she’s that cool). Now, she brings her incredible skills to every stitch, whipping up your fave RARR pieces with the kind of precision and flair that only a true artist could.
Grace has become her “Aussie mum,” and we’re all a little obsessed with how much love, laughter, and talent Meha brings to the crew. She’s proof that sometimes the best things in life happen fast — like finding your new home and your new family in just two weeks. 🧵💖
Meet Rachel — Founder, Boss Lady & RARR’s Chief Mischief Maker
Twelve years ago, Rachel took a bold leap from designing for Adidas (yeah, no biggie... just a global giant) to creating her own unapologetically fun and fearless brand — and that’s how RARR was born!
She’s the mastermind behind all the madness: designing the gear, running the shop, sewing like a demon when needed, AND somehow finding time to create stupid prank videos that make us all cry laughing. 🤪 If you’ve ever seen a chaotic video pop up on our socials... yep, that’s 100% Rachel.
You won’t see her jetting off to PoleCon (she’s way too busy being the wizard behind the curtain), but you WILL find her pole dancing at the studio, fitting customers in-store, or quietly plotting her next wild idea.
Rachel built RARR to be a brand — and a family — where everyone feels strong, seen, and a little bit extra. And honestly? We’re so bloody glad she did. 💖👊
