Behind the Seams With Real Bodies, Real Testing & Zero BS

At RARR, we don’t design for mannequins. We design for real humans with real curves, squish, muscles, jiggle, scars, mum tums, side-boob, big booties, small booties… you get the picture.

Every single new bra and short goes through a proper testing marathon on actual people — not a “size small shrink-wrapped on a plastic doll and fingers crossed it fits everyone else” situation.
We fit-test on Small, Medium, XL, 2XL and whatever other sizes we can get our hands (and sewing machines) on.

Different frames, different boobs, different hip ratios, different everything — because bodies aren’t templates, babe.

We tweak the fabrics, adjust the patterns, re-think elasticity, re-do seam placement… and we don’t stop until everyone feels amazing. It’s slow, it’s meticulous, and honestly? It’s our secret sauce.

One dancer even said, “RARR cater for all sizes — they even swapped my bra band for a looser one.”
Yep. We’ll replace elastic. We’ll alter patterns. We’ll custom-fit pieces. Because inclusivity isn’t a buzzword for us — it’s the way we work.

Boobs In, Confidence Out: Bras That Actually Do Their Job

Let’s be honest — pole dancing is glamorous chaos.
You’re upside down, sideways, sweaty, spinning, climbing… and the last thing you need is a bra with commitment issues.

So at RARR, we literally wear-test the hell out of our bras.
We jump.
We invert.
We spin.
We do burpees (reluctantly).

If a boob even thinks about escaping?
Back to the drawing board.

We test on:

  • side-set boobs

  • cleavage-happy boobs

  • fuller busts

  • smaller busts

  • wide backs, narrow backs… all of it

Plunge styles get tested on bigger busts to make sure nobody is going on an accidental “girls gone wild” adventure during a handspring.
And wide-set boobs get put through gaping, side-boob, and “does this cut feel weird?” tests.

This level of testing is what (big brands like Lululemon also do), except we’re doing it in a pole studio with grip on our thighs and chalk on our hands.

Because when your bra behaves, you’re free to focus on the fun stuff.

Shorts That Hug Every Booty (No Digging, No Drama)

Shorts are personal.
Some people love cheeky, some love coverage, some want tummy support, some want maximum freedom so their booty can do the talking.

We test our shorts on dancers with all different hip-to-waist ratios because the fit should work on curves, straight lines, and everything between. No pinching waistbands. No saggy bums. No leg bands digging into your thighs like a pair of angry rubber bands.

High-rise for tummy comfort? Check.
Cheeky cuts for festival queens? Absolutely.
Scrunch bum that makes every booty look chef’s kiss? Always.

Deep squats, high kicks, floorwork, splits — if they ride up, dig in, or twist in weird ways, we fix it.

It’s why customers constantly tell us our shorts “fit just right and look so good.” That’s not luck — that’s testing.

Designing for Every Curve — Not a Scaled-Up Mannequin

Here’s where the technical magic happens.
We don’t start with a size Small and “scale it up.” That’s lazy design — and it never works on real bodies.

Instead, we build patterns specifically for different body types.
A 2XL bra might have:

  • wider straps

  • more coverage

  • a different neckline

  • reinforced bands

  • adjusted proportions

Because a larger size deserves thoughtful design — not just a stretched-out version of a Small.

We also proudly use real dancers in our shoots. Different sizes, ages, backgrounds, and vibes. Our 10th birthday shoot literally invited the community to shine with us. That’s what inclusivity looks like.

Sizes XS–5XL, custom options, and real humans as models.
It’s community-led design at its best.

Why the Fit Matters (Like… REALLY Matters)

A good fit isn’t just about looking good.
It’s about how you move.

A well-fitted sports bra can reduce pain, support better posture, and help you feel confident — and up to 70% of women have avoided sport because of bad bra fit.
We take that personally.

Your shorts shouldn’t distract you.
Your bra shouldn’t need adjusting every 10 minutes.
Your outfit should make you feel powerful, comfortable, and free.

That’s why we obsess over fit — when your gear has your back (and your boobs), you feel unstoppable.
