Leg warmers are back, and honestly they never should have left. 🧡
There's something about pulling on a good pair of leg warmers before you train — they keep your muscles warm, your look on point, and your warm-up feeling like yours. Whether you're layering over tights before class, keeping your legs warm through a long stretch, pulling them over boots in winter, or just chasing that lived-in studio look, a great pair earns its place in the drawer.
Designed in Australia in soft, stretchy knit that holds its shape, every pair runs a generous 90cm — sitting over the knee on most people, and thigh high depending on your leg length. No pinching, no sliding down mid-class. Wear them pulled all the way up, scrunched at the ankle, or over your boots. They work however you want them to.

Leg Warmers FAQs
Is it leg warmers or legwarmers?
Both, honestly. You'll see it written as two words and as one, and nobody agrees. We say leg warmers — but if you searched legwarmers and ended up here, you're absolutely in the right place.
How long are RARR leg warmers?
All of ours are 90cm. On most people they sit over the knee, and depending on your leg length they'll come up thigh high. Shorter legs, higher fit — that's just how it works. You can also scrunch them down at the ankle for a slouchier look.
Are RARR leg warmers thigh high?
They can be. At 90cm they clear the knee on everyone and sit thigh high on a lot of people — it comes down to your leg length. If you want the thigh high look, pull them all the way up and the stirrup will hold them there.
Are leg warmers good for pole and dance?
Yes — they keep muscles warm during warm-ups and floor work, then slide off easily once you're heated up and need skin contact for grip. They're a staple in pole, ballet, contemporary and heels classes.
How do I stop leg warmers slipping down?
Ours are knit with stretch so they sit securely, and our signature style has a stirrup that anchors under your foot so they physically can't slide. For a shorter, slouchier look, scrunch them down at the ankle instead of fighting them.
What are stirrup leg warmers?
Stirrup leg warmers have a strap that loops under the arch of your foot. It keeps them anchored in place so they stay exactly where you put them, no matter how much you move.
What's the difference between knit and spandex leg warmers?
Knit leg warmers have a ribbed, textured, cosy look and are the warmer option. Spandex styles are smooth, shiny and sparkly — more of a stage and photoshoot piece, and they double as knee high socks.
Can I wear leg warmers over tights?
Absolutely — layering over tights is one of the comfiest, warmest ways to wear them, and it's how most dancers wear them to class.
Can I wear leg warmers as everyday winter wear?
Definitely. Over jeans and boots, under a long skirt, or with leggings and chunky boots — they're not just a studio thing.
How do I wash my leg warmers?
Cold wash, inside out, no fabric softener, and lay flat or hang to dry out of direct sun. Knit holds its shape far better that way.
