My Next interview is with the beautiful and talented Lisa D. I find her to be an absolutely amazing performer, her performances are mesmerising she knows how to work the stage.
Lisa has performed at many of Australia’s major competitions and the Asia pacific too.

Quick Bio on yourself…..
I have been pole dancing for about seven years, and over that time people have often told me they remember me for my “Lisa-ish” style of movement, my passion onstage, and my love of unusual tricks and combos. I’ve got a background in gymnastics, martial arts and circus, and have performed on trapeze, tissu and with hula hoops, but pole will always be my first love.

How long have you been doing pole dancing?
Roughly seven years.
The moment you realised you love pole dancing?
When I made up my first unique trick on the fireman’s pole in a children’s playground late one night when I had gone for a walk because I couldn’t sleep.
Describe your style.
It’s hard to describe yourself. Passionate, unusual, stronger than I look, musical. Fluid, but not clasically so.
Favorite move?
One I made up and called the Triangle.
Tools of the trade, what can’t you live without when pole dancing?
Dry Hands for the hands, iTac for the body, and metho for the pole!
Any hobbies or passions outside of pole dancing?
Reading, eating out, playing with my cat, writing, talking on the phone (wow, I sound like a 16 year old!)

Can’t live without?
The feeling that my direction is mine to choose and that there are many possibilities available to me.
Growing up I wanted to be a…..
I didn’t know, and I lied to the adults about wanting to be a lawyer or writer. Probably a musician or a dancer if I had realised those things could be your job!
